Craft Beer Week May 16-22, 2011

Craft Beer Week

What are you going to do for Craft Beer Week.  In Colorado 9 Fort Collins Breweries came together to brew a collaboration beer.  Brewers from C.B. & Potts, Coopersmith’s, Crooked Stave, Equinox Brewing, Fort Collins Brewery, Funkwerks, New Belgium Brewing Co., Odell Brewing Co. and Pateros Creek joined to make an un-named collaboration beer that will be available during Craft Beer Week in each of the brewery’s tasting rooms.  For more info on this collaboration beer click here.

Now This Is Cruising the Lake In Comfort

Gazebo Boat

So this guy decided he wanted a gazebo near the lake which turned into a gazebo on the lake. It is 18ft by 18ft and has a 15,000 lbs capacity.  I think the coolest part about the whole thing is that he put a trolling motor on it so he can cruise to his favorite fishing spots.

Our Weekly Tie: How To Tie a Clouser

Mike demonstrates how to tie a Clouser.  Clousers are great minnow/baitfish imitations.  They can be used in saltwater and freshwater.  My biggest freshwater fish was on a clouser (Chinook – you can see the picture of my fish below or Here and a picture of Mike’s biggest fish caught on Clouser Here).

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:
Hook – sz 2/0
Bucktail – white and chartreuse
Lead Eyes
Flash
Thread – 210 denier or 3/0
