Jayson Werth’s Batting Average Sets Beer Prices

For those of you that live in Washington D.C. and visit Duffy’s Irish Pub you should really start hoping that Jayson Werth goes into a batting slump.  It might not be good for the team but it would be great for your beer prices.  Duffy’s Irish Pub has set the price of PBR, Bud Light, and Miller beers to correspond with Werth’s batting average.  The price currently sits at $2.17.  Werth claims that fans should take advantage while they can because he is going to be raising prices soon.  If I was a fan I think I would start finding ways to get his batting average even lower. These look like old time fishing lures but they aren’t. Here is one man who took his love of working with wood and fishing to the next level–he makes his own fishing lures.  They seem to be more works of art than anything else yet they still work.  To find more about John Cook and his lures click here.  If you are interested in making your own wooden lures follow this LINK. 
Making some basic lures doesn’t seem to tough as long as you have the right tools. Here is a video showing you how to do it as well.

Invasive species aren’t good for our ecosystems but that doesn’t mean that they wouldn’t be good for dinner.  Do your part and start eating!
